In 2000 GAIA established their first full-time salaried coordinator position with the hiring of Jude Iverson. Previously the organization had employed a part time coordinator and then a contracted part time developer. Currently located in the ND Firefighters Museum, the GAIA office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for businesses and entrepreneurs seeking assistance. GAIA offers a revolving loan program, community betterment and business betterment grants and marketing grants. The city of Garrison developed a CVB position in June 2008 and hired Hilary Nelson. Hilary came to Garrison from Sioux Falls, SD. The duties of the CVB director include helping out with the Dickens Village Festival, CANDISC Director, North Dakota Firefighters Museum Director, various Chamber of Commerce activities, community access channel updates, sports show appearances, and general tourism duties. The CVB office is located in the North Dakota Firefighters Museum on Main Street.
